Curriculum Activity
A story about stones – Medium (digital story example)
King Island Museum
The children went on an excursion to the local museum to look for stories about King Island. They took their iPads and also a paper based data collection sheet to gather information. We put together this digital story about the visit.
Story Sharing
After the stories had been published on the KIDS website, we contact other island schools around Australia and asked them to look at our stories. We also asked them to complete the KIDS island survey so we could find out more about their island. We had three islands respond to the survey. Here is the KIDS survey PowerPoint show that displays what we found out.
